About
I’m Csaba. Some possibly useful clues:
- Software engineer in Budapest. Mostly C++. Currently at BlackRock.
- Professionally interested in architecture, distributed systems, and codebases old enough to have folklore.
- Currently watching AI coding tools rewrite the job in real time. Occasionally helping.
My setup:
- A MacBook Air for everyday stuff
- A Windows desktop PC for heavier stuff
- Another Linux laptop for experiments and linux stuff
- A 2010 MacBook running Debian for home server stuff
- An old Windows gaming laptop used as a console with an even older TV
- I hate all operating systems equally (sorry)
Other ongoing experiments:
- I spend an unreasonable amount of time rearranging my developer workflow.
- I make small games, often under game-jam time pressure. Some of them even work: projects.
- I play the guitar, more or less.
- Philosophy, politics, evidence-based nutrition, animal ethics, and basically anything I encounter around 2 a.m. on a random Tuesday.
